Understanding GSTR-3B tables and what this tool extracts

What is GSTR-3B?

GSTR-3B is a monthly self-declaration return filed by registered GST taxpayers. It summarises outward supplies, inward supplies liable to reverse charge, eligible Input Tax Credit (ITC), and net tax payable. It must be filed by every normal taxpayer for each applicable period.

Upload GSTR-3B PDFs from different months or different GSTINs in a single batch. Each PDF produces one row in the Identity sheet and one row per table-row in Sheets 2–5, with GSTIN + Period + Year as anchor columns throughout — making period-wise or entity-wise pivot analysis straightforward in Excel.

What is NOT extracted

Table 3.2 (inter-state supply breakup by recipient type) and Table 5.1 (interest & late fee for previous period) are not extracted by this tool. These are available in the original filed PDF for reference and verification.

⚠️ Disclaimer
This GSTR-3B PDF to Excel Converter is provided as a convenience tool to assist GST professionals and taxpayers in extracting return data from GST portal PDFs.
  • Data accuracy: Extraction depends on the text content and layout of the PDF. Results may vary across GST portal versions or special filing scenarios (amended returns, nil returns, etc.).
